Trusting

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” – Proverbs 3:5-7 New Living Translation


I love these verses from Proverbs. They remind me that God Promises His Presence, and His wisdom, as well as His guidance and direction, and that fills me with hope.

My part in this promise is to trust God. Trusting is not always easy, especially as we begin a new phase in our lives, like graduation, getting married, starting a new job. Trusting can also be difficult when our lives take an unexpected turn, illness, losing a job, or losing an important relationship. Remembering God’s faithfulness in the past, and His great love for us, makes trusting easier. God loved us so much Jesus died for us.
