Have you ever noticed how often we find people worshipping in the early church? They were so convinced that Jesus was alive and at work in the world around them that they couldn’t wait to worship. Have you noticed that worship in the early church doesn’t just happen in a particular building (after all there were no church buildings), but worship happened whenever and wherever Christians gathered together? In the book of Acts we find the church worshipping with passion and joy, by the side the river, in a jail cell, and in people’s homes. What happens as a result of their worship? Amazing things!
