I love junk food and fast food…potato chips, French fries and hamburgers. I know it’s not healthy for me…I know it raises my cholesterol and clogs my arteries. A little junk food in my diet may be ok, but I need to dine on food that is nutritious if I want to be healthy.
The same is true in our spiritual lives. The above Scripture is an invitation by God, to let go of spiritual junk food and fast food in our lives and dine on the nourishment that God freely offers us for our souls.
